Being the daughter of a photographer, my father made sure that if “cheese!” wasn’t my first word, it would be a close second. During sessions as his lighting test subject, he passed on as much of his knowledge as I was ready to take in. As an adult, I have developed a passion for photography of my own. I am inspired by the excitement of capturing a special moment, the beauty of the world around me and the faces of my loved ones.
My design experience also began as a student of my parents, watching as they put together a local newsletter by hand (obviously, this was well before computers). I would stay up late and observe as they laboriously pieced together the various columns like a puzzle, employing rubber cement and a T-square. It was mesmerizing. From there came a string of school experiences, from yearbook photographer & co-editor to college newspaper supervisor. Over the years, as a professional, I have been extremely fortunate to work on a variety of design jobs. With each new assignment comes a different perspective on graphic design and unique challenges that excite me.
My enthusiasm for photography and graphic design make them not only things I love to do, but something I love to share with others. I hope you enjoy my website.
